After saving your Live Photo, open the gallery inside a TikTok version that supports this format. Select the Live Photo tab first, then choose the Live Photo you just captured.

After exporting your Live Photo, you can share it directly to Instagram posts, Reels, Stories, Facebook or YouTube Shorts. Sharing to all these destinations is supported. You can also open the destination app and choose the Live Photo captured with our app from its gallery.

Export a video, GIF or still image supported by WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Snapchat or X. For Pinterest, use supported still-image or GIF formats. The receiving app controls playback and may compress the upload.

This is normal on some devices or system and gallery versions. A missing Live badge in the system gallery does not by itself mean the photo failed to save as a Live Photo. Open the gallery in Live Photo Camera, Instagram or TikTok and check the photo there. A Live badge in one of these galleries confirms that it is recognized as a Live Photo.

TikTok may treat the direct-share route as a video upload. To upload the photo as a Live Photo, save the original, open TikTok’s Upload gallery, select the Live Photo tab, find your captured photo and select it to upload. Use this gallery route rather than exporting an MP4 or sharing directly after shooting.

Start with a clear source, shoot with enough light and keep your phone steady. Choose a suitable export resolution and avoid repeated conversion. Social platforms may still compress the uploaded file.

The phone needs a supported ultra-wide camera that is accessible to the app. Check the camera mode, app permissions and updates. Lens availability differs across models; not every Android camera exposes the same options.
